Now that summer is here and I can finally enjoy my other passion of gardening, I don't have quite as much time to create and paint but I hope to have at least a couple of pieces each week to offer!

Darling Cottage Chic Mirror
Sweet Hand Painted Roses ~ Elegant Prisms

Sure to add delightful cottage charm and sweet casual elegance, this mirror is the perfect finishing touch for any room! Starting with two nice quality custom wood moulding frames, I painted the outside border a soft sage green and the background with delicate pink and accented with gold. Surrounding the mirror I hand painted a flourish of roses in two varying shades of pink along with accents of light blue and sage green leaves. To capture subtle reflections of light and to add a gracious finishing touch, I embellished the mirror with a strand of elegant prisms, teardrop ctystals and darling pink ribbon roses. This lovely piece measures 14" high by 16 1/2" wide and is another one of my treasures made with a little bit of whimsy and a whole lot of love for your enjoyment!
