A Magical Land of Teddy Bears and Other Wonderful Things! Little “Amanda Bear” loves nothing better than to curl up and snuggle in a warm hand!!! Amanda’s Vital Statistics. This cuddly little mink bear is made from beautiful white and sapphire gray mink that has been recycled. I choose my furs very carefully for shine and condition. Each piece is cut with care and then fully lined for years of durability. Amanda is a soft and cuddly little girl made to be loved !!! She has sweet little German glass eyes with ultra suede eyelids for her ‘relaxed’ look and her face has been shaded very delicately to add a small amount of detail. Her face has had extensive scissor sculpting. The scissor sculpting is done first by sheering and then feathering to give a very smooth finish. Amanda has been stuffed with fiberfil and a lot of BB’s to give her a wonderful weighty feel. Around her neck and by her ears, Amanda wears some wonderful variegated pink silk bows.

These little mink bears are a true delight to hold, they are so soft and just seem to cuddle naturally in your hand. They almost come to life. She is 5 way cotter pin jointed and her head in on a wobble joint. Her 4 paw pads are made from beautiful Italian kid leather. She is 4 ½ inches tall Amanda comes with my Sterling Silver tag attached to her back showing that she is an Original and One Of A kind. She also comes with a card showing a little information about the publications some of my work has been in. Her pattern is my own design and she is entirely hand made by me….Nancy Sholtey Amanda is for adults to collect…not for the wee ones to play with comes from a smoke free environment.
