~HAYDEN MICHAEL~

Little Hayden was lovingly reborn January 5, 2004. He is Falling Stars Nursery's first baby of the new year. And what a beautiful New Year Baby he is. Hayden is 21 inches long and weighs almost 6 pounds. His little head is from a Special Edition baby and is hands and feet are from a 20 inch LaBaby. I love this combination, you get that new baby look and the cuddling ability of a full cloth body. You will want to snuggle him for hours.

~HAYDEN'S FIRST MOMENTS~

Hayden started out by getting all of his factory paint removed, then gently washed and allowed to dry. I removed most of his factory molded on hair lines, and gave him a soft spot in the center of his head towards the front where most new babies soft spots are. I started by painting many layers inside with many color combinations, shading certain areas where you would expect most babies skin to be a little thinner.

I then started on his coloring on the outside, I colorwashed him in many layers and colors to give him his baby glow that you see. I shaded blushed and highlighted all his little rolls and special little areas. I paid special attention to his feet and ears to make them as realistic as possible. I used oil paints for his blushing and highlighting, doing this in layers for a three dimensional appearance.

~MICRO ROOTED HAIR~

Hayden's hair was micro rooted using dark brown premuim mohair. I rooted his hair only using a few strands or less at a time, he even has a crown. I secured his hair on the inside with a water proof glue. His hair can be washed and combed without fear of him losing his hair. I rooted it in a natural pattern you would expect a babies hair to grow. I styled it in a way so that it doesn't look like it has been cut.

~SUEDE BODY~

Hayden was given a suede body called moleskin suede, that was made by me. I double sticthed the seams to that they are more secure. He is so soft and snuggable. He was weighted using clean and sterilized decor sand in his limbs. He also has a sealed cloth bag of sand in his bottom and and in his tummy so that his wieght is more proportioned. He has poly pellets in his body that is surrounded by poly fill called cluster stuff, it is a premuim poly fill that will never bunch up, is hypo allerginic and super soft. His cloth limbs also have cluster stuff in them. His head was weighted using a cloth sealed bag of poly pellets.

~EXTRA SPECIAL TOUCHES~

I sculpted open Hayden's nose, and then shaded the inside for a more lifelike appearance. Hayden is now considered to be a breather. Hayden has beautiful blue eyes by Masterpiece. He has eyelashes to match his hair coloring. I gave him very short and babyish eyelashes. I didn't want to take away from his appearance of an infant thats not very old. I hand painted on his eyebrows and they are very faint, but noticeable for a soft baby look.

Hayden's traveling fees home are 18.00 which include insurance and confirmation and he will be sent by priority mail. Now for the other stuff. Please serious bidders only. Please do not bid if you cannot pay for Hayden within 7 days. I will email you and send you and invoice at auctions end. Please respond with in 24 hrs with method of payment and your mailing address so I can get Hayden ready to come home to you. If paying by check I will not ship him until your check clears my bank and this can take up to 10 days. If paying by echeck through paypal I will not ship until payment has cleared my paypal account. I will ship out your baby within 3 business days when paying by other methods. I do not ship on weekends. As this is family time.
