Resplendant with her tiny toddler features... she looks very realistic; she looks like she is breathing! No expense was spared when "birthing" Elke; and much time and hardwork given to her perfection. First, Elle was color toned with a combination of methods. Her interior was layered with paints, in my special combination of colors until the "realistic" life tones started to form. She was given a color wash on the outside of her soft baby skin until it glistened with pink and taupe perfection. Then she was blushed in all the right baby places~just like a real youngsters skintone it is not exactly even. She has had a manicure on all his fingers and toes, which were sealed with a sealent so they will not chip. Elle has a besutiful pale blonde wig with many tiny tendrils. This makes Elle look so feminine and unique because she doesn't have a classic and common wispy look.A wonderful look for your collection. She also has human hair, hand applied eyelashes in a pretty pale blonde to realistically match her pale blonde hair. I have painted barely there eyebrows to match the depth of a young toddlers. Elle has had her nose sculpted open so the opening is natural. Now she is a "breather". Little Elle was given a NEW high quality Jointed cloth body to make her extra snuggly which can be posed in many adorable poses. Her arms and legs freely rotate 360 degrees. She has fully weighted arms and legs made of 3/4 length vinyl, so she can wear all the cute fall fashions hitting the stores now. Her appendages are weighted with sterilized sand, including her head. So, it is very floppy and realistic and must be supported, but not like a newborns. She can sit up just fine. I feel this is the most special part of Elle... I weighted her to FEEL as if you were holding a real infant. In her body, I used doll pellets and lots of downy soft polyfill to make her so cuddly. She will love to sit on her new Mommy's lap all night. Finally, Elke can wear size 0-3 Newborn size clothing-how fun! She will be coming home to her new Mommy with everything listed below.
